Playa Cabana, which translates to "Beach Cabin" is a new Mexican Restaurant and Tequila bar that focuses on bringing in fresh seafood daily for ceviche of the day and "catch of the day" fish tacos" as well as the "Marisco Del Dia" (seafood dish of the day). All of the corn tortillas are made fresh and by hand. Every salsa is made entirely from scratch from fresh local produce,... More nothing is prepared from a bottle of a can. All of the Mexican cheeses as well as the real Mexican Crema gets produced by local Mexican Artisans in Kensington Market.
The Tequila bar stocks over fifty 100 Percent Agave Tequilas from Avion Blanco to Los Arango Reposado to the Grand Patron Burdeos.
The house margarita is the Amber Agave. It contains no cane sugar. It is sweetened with Raw Organic Amber Agave Nectar from the Tequila plant. It contains only 100% Agave Tequila Reposado. Instead of triple sec which contains cane sugars we use fresh orange and lime juice.
The restaurant has an authentic and rustic feel to it. It was built with local re-claimed wood to give it that cozy beach cabin feel.
There is a 25 seat front wood-deck patio. There is a 60 seat back patio that is currently under construction.
